We are located in the historic Kirby Building at 320 West Main in downtown Gastonia. Our beautiful building originally built in the 1800's has been transformed by Scott and Dodie Huffman (formally of Photogenix Portrait Studio on York Street) into a state of the art boutique-style photography studio and framing gallery serving the area for all your photography needs. You, our client and friend will be greeted by earth toned décor and warm lighting with impressive ceilings. An elegant spiral staircase leads upstairs to the studio room and viewing theatre. The gallery is filled with impressive 40 x 60" wall portraits and images of beautiful brides, babies and families. Clients can cozy up on the red sofas by the fireplace and look through Storybook photo albums of weddings, maternity photos and babies' first year images. The Image Gallery officially opened in September 2008. The IG team includes four staff photographers, Dodie and Scott Huffman, Alicia Demeny, Josh Gaddis, Bristol Crider and Peyton Pressley as graphic artist. Combined our exciting team has over 30 years experience in the very best photography, graphic design and framing. We have been trained nationwide by the very best photographers and teachers in the world and are members of the Professional Photographers of America, Wedding Professional Photographers International, Professional Photographers of North Carolina and Metrolina Photographic Society. We specialize in fine art photography including bridal, engagement and weddings, children, glamour, families, and high school seniors. Photographers are also available for commercial production of images.
